Oman has launched a nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging youth to engage in volunteer work and community service.
The program, called “Youth for a Better Future,” is designed to empower young Omanis to take an active role in addressing social issues and contributing to national development.
The program focuses on various areas, including environmental conservation, education, healthcare, and disaster relief. It provides opportunities for young people to gain valuable experience, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Government officials have praised the program as a step toward building a more engaged and socially responsible generation. Volunteers will also receive certificates and recognition for their efforts, further motivating participation.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Omani government to foster social cohesion and promote values of civic responsibility and solidarity among the younger population.
