In a collaborative effort with Qatar and Egypt, Hamas announced on Monday its mutual agreement to extend the current truce with Israel for an additional two days. The extension maintains the same conditions as those observed during the preceding four-day ceasefire.
During a phone call with Reuters, a Hamas official confirmed, “An agreement has been reached with the brothers in Qatar and Egypt to extend the temporary humanitarian truce by two more days, with the same conditions as in the previous truce” This extension underscores ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at fostering a period of temporary calm in the region.
