This marks Flávio’s second stint in charge of Petro Atlético, having previously served as an assistant coach at the club.

Flávio is set to begin his new role with a match against Académica do Lobito this coming Sunday in the Angolan League. Notably, Petro Atlético currently tops the league table with 59 points.

Flávio originally began his football journey with the Angolan side and ended his playing career there in 2015.

He remains one of the most iconic foreign players in Al Ahly’s history, having played for the Egyptian giants from 2005 to 2009 and achieving significant success with the club.
