On the 50th anniversary of Egypt’s greatest victory in the modern era, the Ministry of Defense has just released documents about the great victory of 6th of October War in 1973.
Major General Samir Farag, the former director of moral affairs and a member of the October War documents Publishing Committee, stated that the Egyptian Ministry of Defense’s publication of documents related to 6th of October War and others has no specific message.
He added that Egypt shows these materials to the new generation that didn’t witness the 6th October war, and that we wouldn’t be satisfied with historical pictures only, but also we released documents that properly represent the military forces in the war after 50 years.
